Duly turns what you say into reminders, lists, ideas and notes. Here's how it works, and how to reach a person.
Capturing
How do I add something?
Tap the orb and talk, then tap send. Say as much as you like, in any order, and Duly sorts it into reminders, lists, ideas and notes. You can also tap the bar and type. Recording stops only when you send, never on a pause.
Can I capture without opening the app?
Yes. Say "Capture a ramble" to Siri, or put it on the Action Button, in Control Center or on the Lock Screen. Duly opens already listening.
How do I change or delete something?
Just say it: "move the dentist to Friday", "take eggs off the list", "delete the podcast idea". You can also tap any item to edit it, tap a reminder's circle to complete it, or swipe left to delete.
Duly got it wrong. How do I undo?
Tap Undo on the note that appears at the top, shake your iPhone, or say "undo that". Deleted things stay in Settings > Recently Deleted for 30 days.
What's in Unsorted?
Rambles that couldn't be sorted right away, for example with no internet connection. They're never lost: Duly sorts them automatically once it can. If one still can't be sorted, tap Sort again.
Duly Pro
Is there a limit?
Every plan can sort a generous amount each day, and Duly Pro raises the limit. If you reach it, your ramble is still saved right away and sorted the next day.
What does Duly Pro add?
Increased usage limits, iCloud sync across your Apple devices, and sharing lists with others. It starts with a free week, and joining a list someone shared with you is always free.
How do I cancel?
In Duly, open Settings (tap your picture) and tap Manage Subscription. Or on your iPhone go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Duly. Cancel at least a day before the next renewal, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
I paid, but Pro isn't on.
Open Get Duly Pro and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you paid with.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
iCloud and sharing
How do I sync my iPhone and iPad?
With Duly Pro, turn on Settings > iCloud Sync on each device, signed in to the same iCloud account.
How do I share a list?
Touch and hold the list's name, then tap Share List. The people you invite need Duly and iCloud, and everyone can add, check off and remove things.
Your data
What happens to what I say?
Your recordings stay on your iPhone. To sort a ramble, its text goes to Duly's server and an AI model, and Duly doesn't keep it. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
How do I delete everything?
In Duly, open Settings and tap Delete Everything. It erases your things, recordings and undo history, and clears iCloud too if sync is on.
